
Ksenia Kogan, MA, LMHC
Ksenia is a bilingual licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida who provides services in English and Russian. Ksenia is an EMDR trained therapist and an EFT certified practitioner. She specializes in trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and panic disorder. In her practice, Ksenia has been working with adolescents and adults who struggle with PTSD, past traumas, disturbing memories, negative core beliefs, history of abuse, and other stressful life circumstances. As a trauma therapist, Ksenia believes that it is crucial to provide a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental environment for the clients to share their sensitive experiences, decrease emotional intensity, and find inner strengths to achieve overall well-being.
Ksenia holds a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. She has graduated with a Distinguished scholar award, recognizing the highest final GPA level in the program. After graduating, Ksenia has continuously trained in different modalities and obtained certificates in basic EMDR training, EMDR R-TEP/G-TEP, and EMDR Working with Dissociation. Ksenia has a Level 2 Emotional Freedom Technique certificate.
Along with EMDR, Ksenia utilizes other treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, visualization, Matrix Reimprinting, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) well known as tapping. As a bilingual therapist, Ksenia provides services to Russian and Ukrainian population, especially now when people are going through a war crisis, being exposed to traumatic events, and experiencing its impact.
