Hilary Bornstein is a Certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, and EMDR R-TEP/G-TEP training Facilitator. A Central Florida native, she facilitated the no fee sexual assault support group for the Seminole County Sherriff’s Office from 2016-2019 and is the current co-chair of the Greater Orlando Trauma Recovery Network, which commits to providing 5 pro bono EMDR sessions to those impacted by disasters in the community.
In addition to her EMDR Early Intervention work with groups, Hilary specializes in working with individuals dealing with complex trauma, domestic violence, and sexual violence. Her clinical experience includes both community mental health and private practice.
Hilary’s background teaching in both the public school system and higher education shines through in her publications and professional presentations, which have included topics such as: career transitions, domestic violence, perinatal trauma, and trauma in the body. Hilary currently owns a small, group private practice where EMDR is the primary therapy. She believes wholeheartedly in the transformative power of EMDR.
