Jacqueline Rangel, LMHC, CMPC, RYT
Jacquie Rangel is a licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping athletes, performers, and motivated individuals find balance in their journeys. She uses EMDR therapy to target root causes of mental health and performance issues, while weaving in breathwork to support a strong and healthy nervous system.
Jacquie holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®) through the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP). Jacquie created the sports psychology practicum site in the University of Miami athletic department and completed her training working with Division I student-athletes and teams.
Jacquie has also been working in the eating disorder field in various capacities for 8 years and draws from both her training as well as her own experience of recovery to help individuals who are also committed to their own healing. She is specifically passionate about helping people reestablish a healthy relationship with movement and training in recovery as they also repair their relationship with food, exercise, body image, and self-esteem.
In addition to seeing clients for individual therapy, Jacquie plans and hosts yearly mind-body-spirit wellness retreats and equips individuals with the skills needed to maintain a sense of vitality. She maintains an active, adventurous lifestyle as a yoga instructor and movement enthusiast in the city of Miami.
