Cherilyn Rowland Petrie completed her MA in Clinical Psychology at the University of Central Florida in 2001 and was licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in 2004. She specializes in using EMDR Therapy to treat children and adults who have experienced early trauma, attachment injury, and neglect and who have complex clinical presentations. She was trained by the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation to treat of Dissociative Disorders and has completed an advanced course in diagnosing and treating Children and Adolescents with Dissociative Disorders. Cherilyn was credentialed as an Approved Consultant in EMDR Therapy in 2013 through the EMDR International Association. She trains professionally through Connect EMDR and has trained locally, nationally, and internationally.
