
Regina “Reg” Morrow Robinson Ed.S., LMFT, LMHC, NCC
Dr Francine Shapiro trained Reg both in EMDR Therapy and how to be a trainer of EMDR Therapy. She is an EMDRIA Trainer, Consultant, and EMDR R-TEP/G-TEP Trainer. She currently trains for Connect Training & Consulting and previously for the EMDR Institute and EMDRHAP. Reg is the Coordinator of Elan Shapiro’s R&G International Network of Trainers and Researchers. A frequent speaker at EMDRIA annual conferences, Reg enjoys sharing her learnings and experience regarding EMDR consultation, EMDR early intervention, EMDR disaster response and Group EMDR Therapy. Reg’s latest project is a book titled Group EMDR Therapy: Emerging Principals and Protocols to Treat Trauma and Beyond due to launch late August 23. Relishing opportunities to exchange knowledge and collaborate, she wrote Levels of Care for the Coronavirus in M Luber’s (ed.), EMDR Resources in the Era of COVID-19. Reg helped launched the Greater Orlando Regional Network which eventually became the Greater Orlando EMDR Network, a 501c3 and is a former Co-Executive Director, focusing on promoting EMDR Therapy and developing local EMDR clinicians.
Reg graduated from the University of Florida Counselor Education Program with an Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy. Reg is a dually licensed Florida Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor, National Board-Certified Counselor and Florida Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for Registered Interns. She has experience practicing in a residential adolescent program, medical setting, school, and her private practice. Working with families and couples has been a passion of Reg’s since graduate school. She is trained in both Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples and The Gottman Method. Her clinical focus has been on trauma, relationship concerns and mentoring developing therapists.

Reg currently resides in Cape Canaveral, Florida with her husband and enjoys visiting with her grown children, hydroponic gardening, and travel.
